North Adams, MA – Feb. 29, 2024- In a meaningful celebration of achievement, BFAIR proudly unveils the well-earned promotion of Laura Baran to the esteemed position of Senior Director of Employment and Community Based Day Services (CBDS). This exciting development reflects Laura’s exceptional dedication, remarkable skills, and unwavering commitment to excellence, marking a significant milestone in her career journey with BFAIR.

Laura Baran’s association with BFAIR dates to 2015. Having initially served as a Board member from 2015 to 2018, Laura seamlessly transitioned into the agency as a Recruiter, where she has spent the past five years playing a crucial role in supporting the agency’s hiring efforts. 

Her professional journey includes significant roles such as Day Program Director at another local nonprofit, Program Manager for the American Cancer Society, and Berkshire County Kids Place. Laura’s wealth of experience extends beyond the professional realm, encompassing community involvement, fundraising, and Board membership. Her philanthropic spirit is further evident through years of volunteering with organizations such as Northern Berkshire United Way, American Cancer Society, and more.
