Acquired Brain Injury

BFAIR is qualified to provide Residential services for people with an acquired brain injury and operates a home in Pittsfield for four women who previously resided in nursing homes. The agency is also a qualified provider of the following supports under the Acquired Brain Injury Non-Residential (ABI-N) program:

  • Adult Companion
  • Chore Services
  • Supported Employment
  • Day Services
  • Individual Supports & Community Habilitation
  • Transportation

BFAIR also hosts a Social – Recreation Program for people living with an acquired brain injury who are interested in participating in supervised recreation and leisure activities within their community The Program provides structured group recreational activities and opportunities to meet other people residing within their community to plan and organize weekly social outings. The agency currently conducts the Social-Recreation program for North County residents (North Adams, Adams, Cheshire, Clarksburg and Williamstown).
